It's nice to see this site's released more updates since our last time reviewing the site, back in August of '08, but it seems not long after that they've stopped updating all together. That's too bad. Hopefully they have plans of starting back up again in the near future. They haven't done much to the design of this site either, but it works well the way it is right now. The only major change I did see was in the DVD downloading options, where you can choose where to start and end the scene. I was hoping with this change to see the movies offered in HD quality downloads or even in the flash player. And now on to the review...

Thanks to sites like AdultVideoAccess.com, the days of inconspicuously sneaking into the backroom at the video store to find porn are finally over. AdultVideoAccess.com gives members access to a large collection of high quality DVDs available for download and organized by category, performer, studio, and series all without having to leave the house. Because this method of delivering DVDs to customers is so effective, DVD download sites are popping up all over the web. Some excel at delivering the content while others don't. This site is about as close to a perfect DVD download site as you're going to find online.

Though the archive of DVDs is smaller than you'll find inside of a lot of the other sites in its class, the assortment of DVDs they make available is impressive. There might be a large number of older DVDs that are easy to find inside of any other DVD download site, but that's to be expected. This site provides its members with a nice sized archive of exclusive DVDs that you're not going to find anywhere else on the web. That's not something you're going to find inside of too many other DVD download sites. Even the non-exclusive DVD archive contains DVDs I haven't seen anywhere else.

The graphical design of the site is unique and easy-on-the eyes, which always helps make the experience of surfing a site more enjoyable. The way the site is set up is methodical and comprehensible with the homepage organized in a way that makes the site easy to navigate. Logging in takes members to the straight content. If a member is looking for gay content, there's a link in the main navigation menu that directs them to the gay stuff. The same menu directs members to the homepage and the search engine. The homepage contains all kinds of different menus that help with organizing the content. Members can list all the DVDs, the exclusive DVDs, the scenes from the DVDs, all the performers, and a favorites folder. The DVDs can be situated by update, title, rating, and number of downloads. They can be filtered further by selecting a performer or studio. The homepage has another menu allowing members to situate the content by niche. The list of available niches is lengthy and thorough.

The DVDs and scenes from the DVDs are arranged in a few rows and columns that continue across several pages. Each DVD is represented by a front box cover, title, and release date, and when you hover over it, you get more info like the studio, niches, duration and rating. Clicking the box cover directs members to the DVD's profile, which includes links to the studio, series, niches, cast members, and box covers. Each scene comes with a set of eight screenshots to help members determine if they want to see the scene. If they do, they're presented with a larger collection of screenshots and different video viewing options. The scenes can be watched inside of a flash player or downloaded to be watched from a local media player. The flash files can be watched at two different qualities. The buffer speed for both was fast making it easy to advance through a scene quickly. The downloadable file encoded at the highest bit rate gives way to DVD quality video. There are a couple of other file formats and bit rates available.

There's a neat feature in each DVD that I haven't seen before. Below the download options is a bunch of screenshots from the movie. When you select "DVD" from the downloads, you can grab and drop any two thumbs to set the start and end frames for a movie, so then you can watch not only in DVD quality but the segment of the movie you care to see.
