I want to love this site. I do. It just lacks in way too many areas. It's not getting much better either. It's kind of like those people you see every once in a while that are stuck in the 80's except that the internet evolves much faster than fashion. This site is stuck in the late 90's. The only change that's been made is the option for members to watch the videos in flash, but the flash doesn't look that good and doesn't buffer very quickly. In other words, it's no better what they already had. Especially considering members can't download anything. The site hasn't really grown that much either. All in all, not real impressed. At least what he does provide has stayed true to the "amateur" niche.

Ed Powers is living the exact kind of life that all of us hope we’ll be living when we’re in our 50’s. This longhaired dirty old man recruits both amateur women and seasoned porn stars to fuck him on camera. The action is then provided to his members inside of his site EdPowers.com. The scenes are totally exclusive and there are tons of them. Not only that, but the fella releases a new scene every single day. The one thing that I found admirable about Ed is that he's no bullshit. He tells it to you straight. If a chick has worked in the industry before he'll tell you she has. He doesn't have her pretend like she's an amateur. You're getting the honest truth inside this site.

The scenes are about as low budget as you’re going to encounter online. Each one takes place in the same room, on the same bed, with the same sheets, and with the same lighting. As a matter of fact, each scene is presented in the exact same way. Ed introduces the girl. She answers a host of questions, gets naked, plays with herself, and then gets fucked. I wasn’t a big fan of Ed’s video editing. The camera angles that he has setup switch way too often. There are times when the camera will switch every second for several seconds straight. I found it be a major distraction.

The homepage contains a navigation menu, the most popular videos, the latest videos, links to the archive of content, and the latest picture galleries. The navigation menu directs members to the latest content and the bonus goods. I think it'd make more sense if there was a link to the entire archive of content from the menu, but there’s not. Each scene is represented by a thumb from the action and the date of the release. Clicking a thumb brings up the content profile, which comes equipped with a couple of video download options. Members can choose to watch the scenes in flash for instant enjoyment in full or in clips.. Members cannot download the videos to their computer to be watched from a local media player or at a later time. This is a huge drawback. He does have a section where members can download scenes from his non-exclusive DVDs. The “pictures” are not really pictures. They’re low quality screenshots taken from the videos. I don’t understand why the screenshots aren’t made available through the profile of their respective videos.
