Mike's Apartment Full Review Recently Revisited... We had a second look at this site on 03/11/2010 Previous Rating: 84.1 Updated Rating: 84.9 Just when you'd think things just couldn't get any better, these guys one-up the design and quality once again. They've changed the format that the archive is organized, but it's a lot easier to get around, especially with that new category filtration system. They still have those third party ads on the home page, but that's really my only major gripe with this site. The newer scenes are now offered in HD streaming. It'd be nice if this bit rate were offered for the downloads. The quality of the downloads haven't changed, and they really deserve to be encoded in HD like the Flash players are, in my opinion. Aside from these few changes, everything else looks great. As for the sign up options, they've changed a little. A 12-month non-recurring membership is available now, and the trial membership, which is now only offered for two days rather than three, has dropped down in price. And, the monthly membership is offered at a very low price if you sign up through Hoes.com. I hope they get rid of the third party ads that clutter the homepage. The menu directs members to the exclusive content, the models, the bonus material, the favorites folder, and a list of the sites they’re given access to when they join. Enter the archive, and you'll see what all the hype's about. Tabs across the top help direct members to the updates, models, videos or photos, and under each of these, the content can then be sorted by update, times viewed, rating, or most favorited. Use the category filtration system off to the left to narrow your results even more. The more categories you select, the smaller the archive becomes. Each scene is represented well, by a large thumb, the model's name, her rating, and the date added. When you click on a model, you're shown a short bio followed by all the scenes she's appeared in on this site along with the rest of the network. Click on a scene and you're shown a preview of the scene in paragraph form with tabs across the top allowing access to the pictures, screenshots, flash streaming video, the trailer, the downloads and the option to favorite a scene. The flash player starts playing right away, and like I said, the newer movies offer a standard resolution as well as HD. These buffer quickly and stream with ease. The scene can be downloaded in full or in clips. The bit rate doesn’t lend to impressive video quality, which is surprising to me considering the fact that everything else about the site is such high quality. However, the pictures look amazing and the photography is top notch.
