This site's been through some drastic changes. First of all, the archive is ridiculously large in comparison to how big it was just over a year and a half ago, when we reviewed the site for a second time. It's a lot easier to browse all the content inside this site with the few browsing tools they've added. Even the quality of these movies have increased some, but they're still not the best HD quality movies that I've seen. I was hoping to see these movies encoded in at least 720p HD video, not 480p, the lowest HD quality available. They also used to have some photo sets for members to enjoy. Not many of them, but a pretty good selection. I couldn't find them this time around, so looks like they've been taken out. Doesn't matter much when you have a site that features this many videos. I was also impressed with the extras they now offer, the behind the scenes content, the exclusive-to-Pornstar.com interviews, the Pornstar.com store, and a ton of digital photo sets. There's a page to check out some eCards, but it appears this page isn't working at the moment. Hopefully they fix that soon. I'm sure plenty of members would love to take advantage of that feature, sending eCards out to all their buddies. Hell, I'm one of them!

And now on to the review...

Domain names don't come much more clear cut than this, do they? Pornstar.com houses a gigantic collection of pornstars and the content they've performed in.

It was made obvious to me, right when I logged into the site, that its scope was huge. The homepage presented me with a navigation menu across the top, a list of the 100 most popular pornstars along the left column followed by a large list of categories members can choose from. Hover over any of these pornstars and you're shown a small thumbnail to show you what the star looks like. Off to the right is a look at a few of the pornstars' thumbnails, the pornstar directory, and the hottest movies by views. The menu provides links to the pornstars, categories, new releases, the advanced search page, and some extras. In the pornstars page, all the stars are arranged in a single column with a thumbnail, the model's name and her bio and vitals representing each one. They get pretty in depth with these bios too, which is nice. Each one has a link to all the scenes she's appeared in on this site. In the categories page, they provide all the categories in a single column also. Each one is defined with a description and a few examples of thumbnails representing some scenes under that category. The new releases show the last 1000 scenes organized by update across several pages of ten scenes each. The search page is the best feature on this site, though. It's here where all these browsing tools are compressed into one page. They also provide a search engine and the most recent scenes released. Nothing really innovative with these browsing options, but it's nice that they make it a little easier to access all the content through a single page like this.

When you find a scene, you're shown all the stars that appear in that scene listed above a bunch of screenshots from that scene. These are followed by a description of the scene and all the downloading options. You can choose to play the movie instantly in a media player, play in an in-browser video player or download the scene, all in your choice of two resolutions in the WMV format. The highest quality is said to be HD quality, but it's just 480p, which I guess is just barely HD quality. It'd be nice to see these movies in more formats, like in Flash streaming, or available in higher HD quality movies.

The fun doesn't stop there. Members get to enjoy some great extras, like some behind the scenes and interviews with some of the pornstars. All of these are shot in the same quality formats as the main movies. The interviews are great because not only do members get to see pornstars out of their element, but all interviews are exclusive to this site. In the extras page, members can enjoy some digital photos of some of their favorite pornstars. Check out the store to buy any dvds, toys, lingerie, and some other goodies. Looks like the eCards aren't working. That's a shame, cuz I have some buddies who'd love to receive an eCard from this site.
