Modern mistresses are a whole lot hotter than the dommes of the past. SuperModernDomme.com is home for Ms. Astrid, a crazy hot psycho bitch with a remarkable body. I'm not using the word 'bitch' in a derogatory, sexist manner here. No! Astrid is a bitch. This angry lunatic has no patience and will not hold back when it comes to handing out violence. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot of evidence of that at this point. Her site is super small. I wish I could say it's because it's new and growing, but neither is true. It's growing, but at a snails pace. It's also relatively new, but not so new that it should be as small as it is.

The design of her site makes it look as if it's bigger than it is. The homepage comes outfitted with a robust navigation menu, model listing, advanced search engine, top rated models, the latest updates, and top rated content. The navigation menu directs members to the content, models, and all kinds of bonus stuff like third party feeds, blogs, and erotic stories. Most of the features on the homepage are insignificant because of the site's tiny size. A member's best bet is to simplify things by browsing content inside of the content sections. The videos and pictures are in two separate categories, but both organized in rows and columns that continue across some pages. The content can be organized by update, model, and popularity.

The picture sets are presented with a zip file, featured model links, the content, and a field for leaving comments. The pictures look good, but they're small. They're a good size for browsing, but it'd be nice if a larger size were made available as well. I like that they're easy to browse using navigational buttons and a slideshow tool. The biggest problem with the photo section is the small size of the photo sets. There's one set that only contains four pictures. The movie section is tiny. At the time of this review, there were only seven. They all fit on one page. It's not like they're lengthy either. The average length of a video is 10 minutes long. I was impressed by the number of video viewing options provided. The movies can be watched in clips or in full by streaming them in flash or downloading them in the QuickTime format, WMV format, and MPEG format. The flash video quality was decent, but it took way too long for the video to buffer. The downloadable files are encoded at one bit rate each with the WMV files giving way to HD screen sizes. However, the bit rate these files were encoded at were at lower levels giving way to grainy video quality not consistent with HD levels.
