We had a second look at this site on 08/26/2009 Previous Rating: 91.4 Updated Rating: 91.5 Last time we had a look at this site we said there wasn't much that needed changing. Well, it's been long enough where the site has gone without a change and the things that need change need to change. Otherwise, the site is going to eventually start moving backwards in our ratings. The site's overall score would've gone down if it weren't for the insane amount of content they've added. The navigation and browsing is still top notch. So is the updating. Neither has changed and neither needs to change. However, the site is still only providing members with one video download option. It's time they start providing more. For instance, flash video would be a great start. Clips would be cool too. Other file formats would help as well. I also noticed that the video production has been shaky lately. The only downfall I saw here is that you can't select to see the results in videos and pictures separately. They're all just kinda clumped together. Browsing the pictures is quite an experience. Most sites you have to click on each individual picture, page by page. The same goes for this site, but you also have the option of viewing the pics in a slide show. Not only that, but if there's any set you really like, you can save it in a compressed zip file onto your desktop. Every picture blows up to a large, crisp resolution, too. As for the movies, they are only offered in one resolution. The older ones appear to be nearly DVD quality, but the more recent movies are way better quality than I've ever seen. In fact, they're so good that, with my superb connectivity, I had to wait some time for the movies to download, which also brings up the point that those of you with dial-up or a slower modem are going to struggle downloading these movies. Actually, you can pretty much forget it. It's unfortunate they're not made available in smaller formats and in clips. Don't forget to rate any picture sets or movies to always keep the best at the top, and the worst on bottom. Wanna know how these guys try to make you feel more and more at home with this site? You can personalize your settings so that the slide show runs at the speed you like for making your viewing experience as enjoyable as you'd like. Or, change your nickname so that it appears that way on the forum and in messages from the admin.
