I'm happy to see that this site's received a bit of a makeover. There are so many classics here, and the site just keeps growing every other day with a new scene ripped from a DVD that's available to members. They've brought in a few browsing features, like the ability to sort the content a few ways as well as the ability to sift through all the performers available at this site. I'm also pretty ecstatic to see these movies are now available in a Flash player. Unfortunately, it seems that's the only option you have for viewing or downloading these movies.

And now on to the review...

Browsing through the content at TheClassicPorn.com brings back some serious memories from when I was in junior high and high school. I'll never forget the day one of my buddies busted out his dad's porn collection. He must've had 100 VHS tapes stuffed into three large boxes. It was like uncovering the fucking Arc of the Covenant. Porn back then was a lot different than it is now and not just because of the obvious differences in the way people looked. There was far more focus on plotlines and soundtracks back then. Every story had a plot and every movie had an excellent soundtrack. I miss that kind of porn, man. Thankfully, we have sites like TheClassicPorn.com out there for us.

Though browsing a home page with tons of content on the page like this one can be a pain at times, it's nice to have a look at a few of the latest updates before strumming through the complete list. There's so much of it that there are some browsing features in place to lessen your concern for difficulty in browsing. A navigation menu makes it possible to browse the DVD titles by rating, updates and popularity. There's even an option to browse by pornstar name, for both male and female performers. What's nice is that each pornstar has a bio, and a list of their filmography as found on this site is listed below her bio. The DVD's are split up into the scenes from the DVD's inside the archive. Each scene is represented by the box cover of the DVD that scene came from, a description of the scene, the star's name, nine small thumbs showing the progression of the scene and a link to the downloading options.

You're given two choices for viewing the movies, either stream the movie right in the browser window in a Flash player, or download the movie with the Flash player format. It's nice that they offer a download like this, but I was kinda hoping to see a more common format, like the WMV or MPEG formats, to be offered for these, and because these movies tend to vary in size, it'd be nice if they offered these movies in clips.
