I am heading over to the Crossdresser and I’m pretty excited by it. I haven’t reviewed a true cross dressing site, and I have the opportunity to interview the owner of this amazing site as well. I’ll finally find out what makes a cross dresser different then a shemale. I am hoping that Katie Ann, the owner, can shed some light on cross dressing and help us all learn about this interesting fetish.

I have to say I was impressed with this amateur site. You can tell that Katie Ann does all the web design herself, and considering that she doesn’t have a ton of experience in design she pulls off a simple easy to use site that has some real quality video and photo options. I did find a few navigational quirks, that needed addressed, but overall they won’t detract from your enjoyment of this cute cross dresser.

Hoes: The first question I have to ask Katie, is what is the difference between shemales and cross dressers?

KatieAnn: Ohhhhh, that's an easy one to explain (sort of). O.K. it actually makes me (us) a bit crazy, but if a crossdresser is dressed, she is a girl. if a crossdresser's not dressed, he's a guy. It’s the ability to go back and forth (and the often the desire to retain that ability) that sets us apart from shemales.

Hoes: When did you realize your feelings for cross dressing?

KatieAnn: I first started dressing when I was 8. I used to "borrow" my mom's or sister's pantyhose when I was home alone. for the most part I just wore pantyhose, socks, and panties until college . . . but I think it was just more convenient to not have to hide entire outfits when I was living at home.

Hoes: When did you decide you wanted to become an amateur, and run your own website?

KatieAnn: I started the site one night when I was drinking with my girlfriend at the time. She knew that I liked wearing girls' clothes and suggested that I dress up and take some pictures. We spent from around 11pm that night until about 11am the next morning taking photos! (and yes, those originals are still on the site). Anyway, I started a yahoo group just to see if anyone would be interested in seeing them (I was really clueless about the wider transgender world at the time), and when I got a great response from a few admirers I thought hey, why not start a website

I can honestly say that I don't run my site for the money. I dress up because I enjoy it and makes me feel sexy. I take photos because cameras, photos, videos, etc are a huge turn on for me. I share my photos with other people because I get a kick out of turning other people on. And the website is just a convenient way to make sure I always have new outfits to wear and show my fans.

Hoes: I've found that most amateur girls have admirers. Do you get a lot of fan mail? and if so, what do they have to say? What do they love about Katie Ann?

KatieAnn: Some days! I do reply personally to every email I get though, so I guess I don't get as many as some girls do. A lot of the people who email me become regulars and we'll end up emailing back and forth for awhile. I like hearing from my fans, and one of my absolute favorite things is when a member requests a special set from me. Any member can make a request for free, and I try to get around to each and every one of them. It gets me hot knowing that I'm fulfilling someone's special fantasy :-)

Hoes: How do you find time to run your site and pull off a full time job?

KatieAnn: I'm a workaholic, and I actually enjoy coming home from my day job and putting in a few hours on the website. Makes me feel productive. I do photoshoots and updates on the weekends - I usually dedicate a full day to updating the site, and a full day to taking photos. I really can't complain about being able to claim having sex as part of "work" though :-)

Hoes: Are you bi-sexual, straight or gay? I know the answer I think, but I know my readers will be nosey and want to know!

KatieAnn: I usually consider myself pansexual - people who know me well sometimes joke that I could find absolutely anything sexy, even a block of wood. Really though I'm bi. I generally find girls more fun to look at, but I enjoy sex with guys or girls equally. Actually, the one thing I'm totally not into though is shemales. They always take their clothes off too fast, and I have a huge clothing fetish. In case you can't tell from my site.
