We had a second look at this site on 07/08/2008 Previous Rating: 87.7 Updated Rating: 89.5 It seems like these guys really focused on offering their members more consistency with every download, while providing a better quality and more convenient, streaming Flash player. Also, from when we last reviewed this site, it appears that they brought in twice as much content as there was before. This might be due to the increase in updates over the past couple months from two updates every day to five. Two was good already, but five now? That's just awesome. On the other hand, I was kind of hoping, especially with the site growing larger and larger so rapidly, that they would implement a more improved navigational tool where you can really narrow your search down to not just the action you want to see but all the attributes of a pornstar as well. Aside from that, as quoted on the site -- "More quantity, higher quality and greater variety that's what you have told us you want, and that is exactly what VideosZ intends to provide you with." -- I'd say this site appears to be getting better and better, little by little.   Visit Site Now And now on to the review . . . The key to creating a perfect adult website is to offer members a large quantity of high-quality content in a comfortable environment that makes finding what they're looking for as easy as possible at an affordable price. VideoZ.com has an enormous archive of high-quality DVDs available for download at a fair price, but has trouble organizing the site in a way that makes it easy to find what you're looking for. The creative design of the site is slick and easy on the eyes, but the navigational methods and browsing techniques in place make things confusing right from the homepage and then throughout the rest of the site. It's simply too cluttered. There's a search engine, a personal features menu, a DVD browse menu, a pornstar browse menu, and menus for browsing both by genre and by studio. There's nothing inventive or unique about the way the browsing menus and search engines work. They're all pretty standard. When you do find the DVD you're interested in, you're taken to a page that presents you with all the scenes represented by high-quality thumbs and a short description. Each DVD is categorized by niche which makes locating the action you're looking for in a DVD relatively easy. The scenes are also tagged with niche keywords, but in some scenes, not enough of them are used for each scene. I saw a chick in a scene with some fairly large tits and yet the 'Breasts' tag was missing. Well you might notice at the end of the list of niches for each DVD and scene that there's an "EDIT" button. When you select this, you can then input any niches that might have been missed by the admin that the scene or DVD provides, and as an incentive to you helping them out with this, if you edit more than 300 of these scene or DVD niche lists, you're entitled to a free month with the Deluxe Pass membership. Not a bad deal, eh? There's one other thing I need to mention though. It seemed like the older movies didn't have a whole lot of download options, yet it appears as if at some point a few months ago, every movie now receives the same quality in download options. Before, you might have had a scene in wmv, another in an mpeg format, and another scene in the xvid format, but now every movie can be downloaded in one resolution through the xvid format, or you can choose between high or low resolutions to stream the movie in a Flash player. The one thing I was thoroughly impressed with was the collection of DVDs available. Not only is it massive, but it also contains some extremely impressive content. Niche placement needs to be improved. Bottom Line The DVD selection at VideosZ.com is unparalleled and the frequency of updates means it probably always will be.
