Ever since we laid our eyes on this site, it's needed a facelift. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed. However, what has changed is the size of the content archive. This site is massive. It's always been huge, but it's nearly twice the size as it was before. Though the design of the site leaves a bit to be desired, I do like that it's easy to find what you're looking for in terms of categories, genre, and decade. Plain and simple. This is the best vintage porn site on the web.

And now on to the review...

The one thing I've learned reviewing porn sites is how to distinguish between sites thrown together for the sole purpose of making a buck and the sites carefully crafted by individuals turned on by the niche they're exploiting in the content they make available to members. The carefully crafted sites might be more expensive and might not offer as much content, but the content inside of these sites are almost always more arousing, more targeted, and more unique. It was obvious to me that the creator of VintageTaboo.com knows everything there is to know about vintage porn.

The site has an amateur design, but the content is organized well. The homepage contains a navigation menu that separates the different types of content into several niche specific categories. The content is broken up by decade all the way back to the 20's and stretching to the 70's. There's a movie section, Burlesque section, stars section, magazine section, and a native girls section. Want to see where anime originated from? Check out the illustrations section. Now, usually, sites will have categories like these with the content arranged inside of the categories. Not here. Each category has several subcategories. I fucking love it! Clicking on a decade presents members with an ass category, fetish category, boobs category, lesbian category, etc. The list goes on and on. The movies are split up into five categories. Four of them are decade categories and the fifth one organizes the content by star and there are a ton of them.

The only couple of problems that I encountered with the site are its lack of innovation and user-friendliness. The videos are only available in full encoded in one file format. The movies can't be watched until they're fully downloaded. There really needs to be more video download options. The pictures are presented to members in an inconvenient manner as well. Each set opens into a new window. Then each picture you click on inside of the sets opens in an additional window. After browsing a couple of pictures from inside of a set I had five different browser windows open. It becomes annoying to have to close each window when you want to advance to the next set or picture. To me, these drawbacks shouldn't be enough to discourage anyone into vintage porn from joining.
